A Field Trip to Remember🌻
Big Jim Farms offers an exciting and educational fall field trip experience for students of all ages! Located in Albuquerque's beautiful North Valley, our farm is the perfect place for hands-on learning about agriculture, sustainability, and the harvest season.
Students will explore interactive learning stations focused on topics such as pumpkin and chile production, soil health, composting, pollinators, and water conservation. They'll enjoy engaging, STEAM-based activities while discovering where their food comes from and learning about the important role local farms play in our communities.
Your class will also experience the fun of fall on the farm with a visit to our pumpkin patch, opportunities to learn about New Mexico's famous green chile harvest, and time to meet our friendly farm animals. Each field trip is designed to be both educational and entertaining, leaving students with a greater appreciation for agriculture and the farm-to-table journey.
Schedule: Available daily with start times at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12pm, and 1 pm.
The cost per student or child is $9.50 each, including any siblings that may also attend. Children under the age of 3 are free and all teachers & adults are free. Must have a group of at least 12 to book. Will email FAQs and quote upon booking.
You are able to pay cash, card, or PO the day of field trip. CC payments will be charged 4% fee. Must cancel via phone or email with as much advance notice as possible or we will charge a $50 no show fee.
