Mission

Experience an outdoor learning adventure at Big Jim's Kids Farm!

Enrich your students understanding as they participate in hands-on learning activities throughout the beautiful farm.

Your students visit will be filled with opportunities to follow their natural curiosity as they work their way through an array of engaging, stem-based learning stations where a "seed to mouth" full circle understanding of food production is emphasized.

What to expect

Field trips are structured with guided learning stations lasting 1 to 2 hours. After the stations, students can choose to have a snack or lunch and enjoy extra time for exploration.

The topics covered at the learning stations include soil health, regeneration, composting, seed germination, water conservation, beekeeping, organic farming practices, farm animals, and more.

Each station offers hands-on activities for students to engage with. Teachers should plan 3 hours total for field trip.
